ease. was founded in Deventer in 2025 by three entrepreneurs with a shared passion for style, comfort, and quality: Ben Runneboom , a graphic designer, web designer, and part-time video editor with his company Solution Fields , and Hessel Peters and Stan Gerritsen , who specialize in marketing with their successful marketing agency Marketing Concepts . A powerful team!
What started as an idea among sneaker enthusiasts has grown into the go-to brand for high-quality socks with a timeless design. We wondered: why are there so few companies that truly focus solely on socks? And why are most sock brands either boring or of mediocre quality?
We were already active in the sneaker world, including through our YouTube channel Sneakerplaats , where we regularly discuss the latest sneakers in terms of comfort and style. And that's precisely where we thought time and again: this calls for good socks. Not just any socks, but socks that enhance the feel of your sneakers and complete the look.
With that in mind, our mission began: to create the perfect sock—one that looks good, fits perfectly, and lasts for years. No flashy designs. No dated designs. Just pure quality and comfort, down to the smallest fiber.
A strong team, each with their own expertise. Ben Runneboom, owner of Solution Fields , is our creative force. With over 13 years of experience as a graphic designer and part-time website designer and video editor for Sneakerplaats , he knows how to make a visual impact. He designed the first socks, tested dozens of samples, and ultimately developed the ultimate sock. He also has experience in the clothing industry with his brand Temple Wear, which launched in 2017. So Ben knows exactly how to source the best fabrics and products. He's been active in sneakers and streetwear since he was fourteen, a true sneakerhead.
Hessel Peters and Stan Gerritsen are the founders of Marketing Concepts and Sneakerplaats . They bring a wealth of experience in marketing and community building. The services they provide are not only their daily work but also their passion. Their company fosters a results-oriented culture where everyone encourages each other to get the most out of every campaign and project. Their love of marketing and sneakers perfectly complements the creative process. Because where there are sneakers, there must be top-quality socks. Stylish, comfortable, and well-designed.
